Artist Turns Disney Princesses Into Ordinary People Living In a Modern Day World

We see a lot of different versions of Disney princesses all over the internet, from real-life princesses to warriors to baby characters. This time, an artist from Ukraine recreated these princesses as ordinary people living in our world today.

Illustrator Daria Artemieva portrays these iconic Disney stars in modern everyday scenarios, like spending time at the beach, reading a book, sharing their lives in social media, and so on. Check out how our favorite characters would fit in our present world.

Meet Cinderella! 👠👑 Eng 👇🏻 Не нашла вдохновения на Рапунцель, зато на Золушку-легко!💕 По традиции-интересные факты🤓 💙Почему героиня получила такое имя? Наверное, этот факт о Золушке знают даже маленькие дети – из-за золы. Слуги чистили хозяйские камины, и их одежда была припорошена золой. 💙«Золушка» стала хитом, на полученную прибыль Уолт смог запустить телевизионное производство, основать дистрибьюторскую компанию и начать строительство первого «Диснейленда». 💙Розовое платье, которое Золушка сшила для бала с помощью своих маленьких друзей, было вдохновлено работами Сальвадора Дали. А белоснежное бальное платье — подарок Феи-крестной — очень напоминает стиль великого французского кутюрье Кристиана Диора. 💙Образ Люцифера был вдохновлен домашним питомцем аниматора студии Disney. As a tradition-here are interesting facts about movie🤓 💙Cinderella was given her name because she was always covered in cinders from the fireplace. Her mean family gave her the name. 💙Lucifer is based on an animator’s cat.After searching for a cat that would look mean enough, animator Ward Kimball ended up using his own cat, Feetsy (who had 6 toes), as inspiration for Lucifer. The idea came to him during one of Walt Disney’s visits to his home. 💙The entire film was shot in live action before animators began drawing. Filmmakers used this technique to get a better idea of how they wanted the characters to move around in the environment. 💙The Disney version of Cinderella is based upon the 17th century tale Cendrillon written by Charles Perrault. 💙Walt Disney released the famous animated Cinderella in 1950.
