Gavin Aung Than is a talented cartoonist from Melbourne, Australia. After working in the corporate world for 8 years, he decided to quit his job to pursue his passion, drawing cartoons.

In 2012, he launched Zen Pencils, a cartoon blog which adapts inspirational quotes from famous people into comics. Since then, his work has been featured by The Washington Post, The Huffington Post, Slate, Mashable, Upworthy, Buzzfeed, Gawker, The A.V. Club, Brain Pickings, Comic Book Resources, National Geographic, ProBlogger and The Design Files.

A quote by Confucius  – “Choose a work you love and you will never have to work a day in your life,” was one of Than’s first drawings because that was what he did – followed his dream. Scroll down to check out his amazing comics.
