French Artist Transforms Discarded Mattresses Into Yummy Food Artworks

Lor-K is a French urban artist who creates sculptures on the street using discarded materials.  For the past 8 years, she has been on a mission to educate people about recycling unwanted waste into contemporary urban artworks.

Her latest project called “Eat Me,” features massive food sculptures made from old and unused mattresses found on the streets of Paris.

Lor-K improvises with what she can find in order to create these yummy food art. After carving and spray painting the mattresses, the final product is left on the sidewalk but this time looking more delicious and appealing than the old one.

The recipe book includes all the urban recipes that made the accomplishment of the project. Check out her amazing creations below.
