Dogs and Us is a pet photography based in Turin and Milan, Italy, created by Emanuela Colombo and Mario Forcherio. The duo said that their photography journey started in 2009 when they have noticed the special bond of humans and their dogs.
“We have witnessed carousels of joy, fear, exuberance, gratitude, doubt, anger, amazement, patience and resignation,” the artists told Bored Panda. “Their faces turn into faces with human expressions, which we only need a small dose of sensitivity in order to read, and they become open books.”
“We photograph them, laugh with them and experience their own emotions for a few minutes. This was a very moving shooting, and watching this photo makes me feel enormously tender,” the duo wrote in one of their Instagram posts.
