]]>Based in Fontana, California, Gonzalez is a talented cake-maker who enjoys making picture-perfect cakes for all sorts of different occasions. According to her Instagram bio, she specializes in vintage, shag, and bespoke cake design, and her unique creations attracted around 40,000 followers to her page.
Gonzalez caught our eye with her nostalgic cakes inspired by cartoons and TV shows we all grew up watching. She found viral fame with her adorable cake featuring a popular SpongeBob SquarePants quote, “What’s funnier than 24? 25!”, but we’ve also seen her pay homage to Scooby-Doo, The Powerpuff Girls, and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
Even when she’s not making cakes inspired by our favorite childhood cartoons, there’s something inherently retro about Gonzalez’s creations. Many of her cakes will make you feel like you’ve stepped into a time machine because she’s a huge fan of vintage designs that look straight out of the 80s and 90s, in addition to making cakes inspired by zodiac signs featuring cursive letters and kitschy details.

]]>This “independent cake artist,” as Vincentini describes himself on Instagram, has gathered almost 230k followers on this social platform. It’s all thanks to his talent to make cakes that you’d never think are cakes – until you see him cutting through them.
“People’s reactions have been the best part. They usually go nuts but there have been people who say it makes them uncomfortable to watch,” Story Trender quoted this young artist. “I feel great when finishing a cake. A little relieved too. After looking at something for so long, you kind of just start nit-picking every little thing. I totally do that with my cakes but that’s what makes them even more spot on.”
He notes that he’s actually not a cake person, but figures that people love the taste of his cakes based on their reactions. He’d never make a cake that looks great and isn’t delicious!

The process is both a labor of love and an experimental expression of their creativity. “Creating a single cake may take a week,” Madina told My Modern Met. “Ideas simply come to us, and sometimes, they emerge as we experiment.”
