]]>Now, some of Wright’s most famous creations will take a new life as travel posters as part of a new project by the New York art gallery Spoke Art and The Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation.
The project, titled Frank Lloyd Wright: Timeless, saw dozens of international artists creating pieces inspired by Wright’s work and in the style of 1930s-era Works Progress Administration (WPA) travel posters. Prints of these pieces are now available for purchase while also being part of a traveling exhibition.
“Appreciating the beauty of the natural world around us, and how we connect with and live within that world, is a gift Wright left us, and we always look forward to celebrating and exploring these ideas,” Ken Harman Hashimoto, Spoke Art owner and curator of the exhibition, said in a statement.
