Artist Illustrates The Beauty of Beaches In Her Colorful Drawings

Ohkii Studio features colorful illustrations, inspired by the natural world, her travel adventures, folk tales and old mystery novels. It is created by Angela Mckay, a surface pattern designer and illustrator based in New York. She was originally from the sunny shores of Australia and the humid tropics of Thailand.

She uses gouache and watercolor in her drawings, and all pieces are drawn and painted by hand before being screen or digitally printed.

Most of her illustrations portray the serenity of beaches, the relaxing moments and fun time spent chilling in the beach. Her latest works are perfect for today’s summer season where everybody is having a good time soaking under the sun.
