Wham Bam is the guy behind the Instagram account @thumbpaint, who makes simple illustrations with painted thumbs.

His main characters are Red and Yellow and the stories he creates around them is really hilarious, no wonder he gained more than 120k followers on Instagram.

The protagonists of his comics are basically round blobs with faces, arms and legs drawn with black pen. His witty observations and sense of humor are added to his comics and it will keep you reading all his funny posts. Check out some of his creations below.

Tag a friend ❤️ – – – – – – -Usually my comics are supposed to be funny and comical, however, I realized that with this platform, I have the opportunity to spread more important messages like self acceptance and equality. Being a teenager myself, I know what it feels like to constantly compare yourself to others on social media. And if you think about it, social media is set up to compare ourselves to one another through the number of followers, likes, and comments on posts. Although social media is a great way to connect people together, it can also be toxic by influencing one to idealize false beauty standards set by celebrities who use photoshop and other self-editing softwares. Through this comic, I want to bring awareness to not only harmful comparisons, but these unrealistic beauty standards. I hope this comic helps some one out there realize that not everything on social media is real and to accept themselves for who they are – I love you all much and hope that you love yourself too❤️
