This Photo Booth Captures The Beauty Of Birds Up-Close

When Lisa M. Ca, aka Ostdrossel, moved from Germany to Michigan with her husband, she observed that the birds are different than in her homeland.

So she put up a bird photo booth which consists of a camera box, a macro lens, and an attachable feeder to capture the beauty of birds up close. She also used a tiny camera equipped with a motion sensor so that when a bird comes close, the camera captures it secretly.

She has experimented with all kinds of food to lure the birds in and since setting up the booth two years ago, she already accumulated thousands of beautiful photographs of various birds. Check out her latest images.

I had a very exciting day today! A news team came to take a tour of the muddy yard and hear all about the birds. I felt a little tripod envy 😂 The birds behaved well and showed their best side, and Count Grackula is back! I am still trying to catch up with the whirlwind of the recent events and trying to accommodate them with my very normal and real work schedule. So I hope people who send me requests or messages can be patient. This is a new situation for me and I am still trying to figure out if this is the new normal or just a phase. It is all very exciting and I am stoked to have you all here.
