Ari Puguh’s Illustrations are Colorful and Positive

Indonesian illustrator Ari Puguh currently lives in Abu Dhabi, where he works in an educational company as a visual artist. In his spare time, he enjoys creating illustrations and writing; he has written and illustrated children’s books — his last one is titled Different but the Same and it shares the message that we’re all the same despite our differences. “Even though our religions are different, we are still best friends,” as the artist puts it.

“Coming from a tough childhood back in Indonesia drove his purpose on contributing to give hope & inspiration to children,” his bio on Amazon reads. “His art speaks about positivity & cheerfulness, it is actually like I am trying to talk about life to himself. He wanted to bring purposes to his art & works, so the people can at least smile a little after seeing the works.”

Because of this, his art is simple and colorful, easy for children to relate to. Scroll down to see it.
