LEGO Unveils a New “Mario Kart“ Set Featuring Larges Brick Mario Ever

March 10th is recognized as “MAR10 Day” in honor of the iconic video game character Mario. The character’s creator Nintendo decided to put together something special for the fans as part of the celebration by teaming up with toy company LEGO for a new Mario Kart set.

The set is based on Mario’s appearance in Nintendo’s popular racing game franchise Mario Kart. It features the largest version of brick Mario to date and comes with his standard racing kart.

LEGO and Nintendo unveiled the set via video shared on their respective social media pages.

Officially known as Mario Kart – Mario & Standard Kart, the set features 1,972 pieces and is the largest entry in the Mario Kart LEGO collection by date. It is already available for pre-order at a price of $169.99 with a release date set for May 15, 2025.

Interestingly, this Mario Kart set has been in the making for more than a year. It was teased for “MAR10 Day” in 2024 with a video released by Nintendo that didn’t offer much detail except the announcement of further news in 2025. The news has now come and judging by the reactions of fans on social media, it was worth the wait.
