Richard Wilkinson is an illustrator from the U.K. whose pop-culture character illustrations resemble insects. From cartoon character to villains from famous horror movies, his work always leaves us in awe, thanks to the impressive amount of detail he incorporates.
The artist’s description on his website simply states that he’s “a father and freelance illustrator living in Brighton.” Thousands of his Instagram followers enjoy his rendition of Jason Voorhees from Friday the 13th, Pennywise the Clown from IT, Bugs Bunny, Rick from Rick and Morty, Daffy Duck, and many more beloved fictional characters.
He sells illustrations in his online shop. Each illustration comes with a made-up Latin name of the character and they are often hilarious.
