Indeed, Norbert’s presence makes a difference. A proud philanthropist, he serves as a therapy dog and volunteers at Children’s Hospital LA. Over the past years, he has also volunteered at nursing homes, special events, and schools. Because when you’re this cute, it’s only fair to share your gift with others.
Alongside his human owner, Julie Steines (Freyermuth), Norbert has also launched the project Norberthood For Good. “Everyone who helps me spread smiles is part of the Norberthood!” notes the pup. “My mission as a therapy dog is simple: to spread smiles, inspire kindness, and bring comfort to those in need,” his website further reads. “In addition to my time, I have donated thousands of dollars and Norbert products to charitable causes. Philanthropy is the foundation of the Norberthood.”

]]>Intrigued by the beauty and power of oceans, Canadian artist Katharine Burns creates captivating paintings of seascapes. With an impressive attention to detail, Burns reproduces all sorts of different scenes on canvas. This ranges from calming seas painted in bright colors by a setting sun to waves crashing on the beach.
According to Burns, the main focus of her paintings is always water, and she always aims to avoid adding other motifs that might distract the viewers.
“What I try to capture is intimacy, and the qualities of the whole ocean environment that captivate us, sometimes unconsciously; or inspire awe in ways we can barely put into words,” Burns explains on her website. “The sparkles created from sunlight on the water’s surface; the amazing force behind a wave; the little windows of translucency that flash within it for a split second just before it crashes to the shore.”

]]>Lizarralde started this unique series in the late 2000s when he did a floor plan of Fraiser Crane’s apartment from the popular sitcom Frasier. He was a fan of the show and did it as a passion project.
After receiving positive feedback from his friends and social media followers, Lizarralde decided to do several more illustrations, and it soon spanned into a full series.
According to this talented artist, he has made around 150 floor plans of fictional houses and apartments. Most of them come from TV shows and animated series, but there are quite a few from popular movies like High Fidelity, The Batman, and 2001: A Space Odyssey.
Lizarralde often does multiple floor plans from a particular TV show. For example, he did several locations from Friends, including apartments from all main characters: Chandler, Joey, Monica, Rachel, Ross, and Phoebe, as well as the iconic Central Perk coffee shop.
Lizarralde recently released a book titled Behind the Screens: Illustrated Floor Plans and Scenes from the Best TV Shows of All Time, which contains his favorite floor plans. He also frequently shares his works on social media. Check out more of them by scrolling below.

]]>Verrier creates still-life paintings in a traditional style while choosing burgers, fries, tacos, burritos, and all sorts of other common fast-food items as his subjects. The results are quite unusual but captivating.
Verrier, who is based in Florida, used to be an art teacher at Florida State University. However, he decided to walk away from teaching in order to focus entirely on his career as a painter. Since then, his works have been exhibited across the United States and the rest of the world, including Germany, the UK, France, Japan, India, and more. His paintings are also highly appreciated by art collectors.
“What I enjoy most is working from life. Through the act of quietly observing, my aim is to accurately yet personally discern color and light,” Verrier shares on his website. “My subjects have included still life, portrait, and landscape. Not unlike the great painterly realists of the late 19th century, my work emerges through painting directly while striving to retain gesture and emotion.”

]]>Wenner spent his early life in pursuit of fine art, which led him to attend California’s Art Center. While there, he was recruited by NASA and accepted a job offer from the space organization to serve as an “advanced space illustrator”.
Wenner left NASA in the early 1980s and moved to Italy, where he wanted to study the art of Italian master paintings. While there, he came across an artist who was drawing paintings on the pavement with chalk. That’s when Wenner got the idea to start doing 3D pavement art.
Since then, Wenner created 3D pavement paintings across the world. His works are influenced by the works of Michelangelo, Leonardo da Vinci, and Caravaggio, but also inspired by all sorts of different themes.
“My artwork almost always tells a story. I enjoy using themes and stories that withstand the test of time as they spark recognition across generations. I often use stories from sacred art, mythology, and music,” Wenner shares on his website.

]]>Ronaldo Luís Nazário de Lima is a retired soccer player from Brazil who played between 1993 and 2011 and was considered at one point the best in the world. A group of artists decided to celebrate the legacy of the “Real Ronaldo” with a virtual exhibition of artworks dedicated to the Inter Milan and Real Madrid legend.
Curated by Instagram user A Store Like 94, the exhibition aims to showcase 30 artworks dedicated to the original Ronaldo in the span of 30 days. It also marks the 30th anniversary of Ronaldo’s professional debut with his boyhood club Cruzeiro.
“At the start of last year I came up with the crazy Idea to curate an exhibition to celebrate 30 years since R9 the real Ronaldo burst onto the football scene in 1993 with Cruzeiro,” A Store Like 94 explains. “The premise of the whole project was to reach out and track down 30 male and female artists, some old some new to help me celebrate one of the greatest number 9’s of the modern game as well as making some new friends along the way.”

So far, Lin’s miniature art has taken him to New York City, where he “visited” Soho and Flatiron Building; Greece, where he bathed under the sun of Santorini; and Japan, where he explored Tokyo, Kyoto, and Itsukushima.
Lin managed to personally experience some of the destinations featured in his works, but that only encouraged him to keep on creating and adding places and landmarks to his “bucket list.” The artist frequently shares his newest works on social media while also making their prints available for purchase through society6.
