Artist Uses Real Pet’s Hair In Her Needle Felting Artworks

Dayna Broad is a 3D fibre equine & animal artist from the U.K. She creates pets in 3D using top quality materials such as wool, clay, glass and wax. She also specializes in memorial keepsakes that can include real animals’ hair, fur or ashes.

She discovered he art of Needle Felting in December 2017 when she was looking for a gift for his nephew. Not long after, she ordered her first kit and started her felting journey.

“15 months on and I earn a living creating beautiful, 3D bespoke pieces of art for other people of their beloved pets,” the artist wrote. “I even incorporate their real pet’s hair or fur into my creations for more a sentimental keepsake. I have made so many people happy with what I do and in turn that makes me very happy. I have finally found the greatest combination of the two things I love most… animals and art!”
